About Me: Dr. Chris Anderson, PT, DPT

Hi there! The kids call me Ms. Chris. I am the Physical Therapist here at Sheridan working with kids with mobility issues. I provide physical therapy services that address motor function to improve a student’s ability and independence as they move around school and interact with their peer. I have been working in the district for 8 years working with kids from birth to 21.  Prior to that, I have worked in clinics, hospitals, nursing homes and home health. I love working with the kids and getting to do more than anyone thought they were capable of doing. I try to set my goals for the kids and make the work fun. I also take parents and teachers desires into account when making goals. I will push the kids to achieve more while still being happy.

I am originally from Southern California, where my siblings still live. I graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and Health Education. I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the College of Saint Scholastica. I have lived here in Minnesota for 22 years, raising my three boys (men) with my husband. When not working, I enjoy reading, going to the gym, and travel when I can.

I am at Sheridan on Wednesdays. Please contact me through my email if you have any questions.
