Our first Site Council Meeting this Thursday 15th at 5:30pm.

The school site council plays an important role in decision-making at Sheridan.

The Sheridan site council is a group of teachers, parents, classified employees (at the high school level) that works with the principal to develop, review and evaluate school improvement programs and school budgets.

School site council members don’t just represent their own interests. They have an obligation to make decisions that will best serve the whole school community.

How to get involved

If you are interested in school policy or budgets, you might enjoy serving on your school’s site council. To find out more about what your school site council does, attend a meeting or talk to the Family Liaison

Welcome to the Sheridan Media Center.

Students will be going to the Media Center once a week with their homeroom teachers to check out books.  Please return books on time and take good care of your books.

Have a special place at home just for your library books, please keep away from younger children, pets, food and water.

Your school library media center uses a web-based catalog and circulation system called Destiny that allows you to search for books, videos, websites and many other items in your school library Media Center any time, anywhere that you have Internet access.

I am happy to offer suggestions to students and also take suggestions for books you would like to see in the Media Center. Please remember that students and families are financially responsible for lost or damaged library materials. If you have questions or need to pay for lost or damaged materials, please see Lucy Lund in the Library Media Center.

 Sincerely,

Lucy Lund, Library Media AE
