I am thrilled to be a teacher at Sheridan this year. This is my first year at Sheridan, but I previously taught a 6th-8th grade classroom in a special education school in Tennessee. I earned my Master's in Education from Vanderbilt University's Peabody School of Education for High Incidience Disabilities with a focus on emotional and behavioral needs. I found my passion for teaching after working for two years as support staff at Northeast Middle School!

Our families' and our students' ideas, thoughts, and goals are valuable and cared about. Our students have strengths and goals, and I am invested in engaging them in greatness. My role is to be a guide and advocate for students and their families. As students are learning academics subjects, I like to focus on Character, Honesty, Accountability, Respect, and Motivation. Getting to know the Sheridan community is the best way for us to create authentic, individualized goals for our students.
