Mr. Englund, Strings Teacher

Mr.Englund has taught String Music at Sheridan since 1993. At Sheridan, all students study violin or cello beginning in Kindergarten and continuing  through third grade.

In grades 4 and 5, students may continue string lessons if they choose.

The string curriculum is called Color Strings and it emphasizes singing, note reading and string performance.

Mrs. Englund teaches classroom music to students in grades High 5 through 3rd grade. 

Students may elect to begin a Band instrument in Grades 4 or 5.
