Non-Separating Classes
New Parent Connection (0 – 4 months): A great place to start in ECFE. We’ll discuss topics such as sleep, eating patterns, calming techniques, and adjustments to parenting. Parents will learn infant massage techniques and play activities for young babies. These classes are 8-9 weeks long, two sessions each semester and families may join at any time.

Incredible Infants (2 – 11 months): Experience music and play activities that enhance your infant’s development. Parent discussions will focus on topics of interest to new parents such as sleep, nutrition, child development, temperament, adjustments to parenting, and safety.

Separating Classes
Toddlers and Twos(18 – 36 months): Independence, temper tantrums, and sheer exuberance are all part of life with toddlers and twos. After participating in developmentally appropriate early childhood activities, parents will separate to discuss child development, temperament, routines, behavior guidance, and other topics based on participant needs and interests.

Adventures in Parenting (Birth – Kindergarten Enrollment): Parent discussion will focus on child development, school readiness, temperament, guiding behavior, and sibling relationships. Additional topics are determined by parent needs/interests and teacher suggestion.

Special Focus Classes
Daytime Dads: This unique offering examines the personal and societal attitudes facing at-home dads.

Culturally Specific Classes:

These classes are for parents whose first language is not English and who experience cultural differences related to parenting. Parent discussion will focus on child development, school readiness, temperament, guiding behavior, and sibling relationships. Language assistance is provided in each of these classes.
