Welcome to room 317, the fourth and fifth grade resource room!
My name is Jessica Johnson, but my students call me Ms. Johnson. I have worked in Minneapolis Public Schools for the past five years and began teaching at Sheridan in 2009. I have sincerely enjoyed my time at Sheridan and look forward to continuing to work with Sheridan's students and families.
I graduated from Concordia Univeristy in 2007 with degrees in Elementary Education and Middle School Language Arts. I went back to school in 2008 to complete Special Education licenses focusing on learning disabilities and emotional & behavioral disorders. I am currently working on a Master's degree in Differentiated Instruction, which I hope to finish in the Spring of 2013.
I place a strong value on parent-teacher relationships and look forward to collaborating with you to ensure your child's success. Please feel free to contact me via e-mail at jessica.johnson@mpls.k12.mn.us, or by phone at (612) 668-1130.
Thanks!
Ms. Johnson
